Scarborough's Delicious Secrets: Heritage Stories with a side of Michelin-Guide Brisket

About this event

Nestled along the eastern valley, Highland Creek is one of Scarborough’s oldest settled villages where historic heritage architecture meets a changing suburban identity. On this tour, we will explore the flavours and traditions that reflect Highland Creek’s evolving identity, from steam-cooked, chili-tossed Hakka momos to artisan, slow-fermented pizza pies pulled hot from the oven. Along the way, we will discover how cooking traditions travel, adapt and find new roots while sampling slow-smoked halal barbecue brisket. Before ending with warm local hospitality at a cozy neighbourhood café.
