Delete Your Account

You can delete your TONearby account and its synced data at any time, directly in the app.

Delete from the app

• Open TONearby and go to Account (top-left on the map).
• Scroll down and tap Delete account.
• Confirm your sign-in method, type DELETE, and confirm.

What happens when you delete

• Your account becomes inactive and push notification delivery stops immediately, so alerts stop right away.
• Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion. For 30 days, you can change your mind: just sign in again and your account and data are restored.
• After 30 days, your account and synced data are permanently deleted: profile, favourite places, saved searches, family profiles, notification preferences, notification inbox, device records, and push notification registrations.
• Feedback is retained separately and is not automatically removed with your account. It may include optional contact information and an app installation identifier, so it may be technically correlatable with your account. See the Privacy Policy.

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have the app installed and want your account deleted, email support@tonearby.com from the email address associated with your account with the subject “Delete my TONearby account,” and we will process the deletion for you.

Guest data

If you used TONearby without an account, your data lives only on your device. Uninstalling the app (or clearing its data) removes it.
