Tony Ranieri: Fear of the Dark, Beauty Unseen
Arts/Exhibits
About this event
As light is needed for our basic vision, it is also a manipulator of what we see. A place, a view, or scenery can be seen as beautiful and awe inspiring in one light, then plain and drab in another. Much of the world is not explored at night for various reasons, and therefore much of the night's beauty goes unseen. This series explores landscapes that would be taken as plain and drab in the day time, and exposes its counter balance beauty in the night. Whether its moonlight, starlight, the auroras, or any combination of them, there is something to be discovered and enchanted by the natural light in darkness.
