About this event
Kick off the Toronto Public Library AI Summit with a half-day forum presented by the City of Toronto’s Office of Technology and Innovation Sectors. Ecosystem Connects: AI and Beyond brings together leaders from government, industry, academia, and the startup community to explore how Toronto can strengthen its position as a global leader in AI and emerging technologies, including quantum computing. This half-day forum will feature forward-looking discussions on technology adoption, commercialization, investment attraction, and ecosystem growth. This event features a keynote chat with Christian Weedbrook, Founder and CEO of Xanadu, moderated by Siri Agrell. He will be sharing his entrepreneurship journey building a quantum computing startup, drawing on Toronto’s abundant resources in research excellence, talent, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem collaboration in building globally competitive companies. Light refreshments will be provided.
