About this event
Experience Agency and Defiance, featuring never-before-seen works by Toronto-based artist Frantz Brent-Harris inspired by Jamaican Junkanoo. Through these figures, the artist shares the enduring legacy of agency, defiance, resilience, joy, love, and cultural expression that sustained enslaved peoples and their descendants, even under inhumane conditions.
